Registration for the AVPA: 1st International Contest “Chocolates Processed at Origin” is open.

AVPA is a non-governmental organisation (NGO), mainly composed of global producers. Their objective is to promote agricultural producers who are too often forgotten in the midst of mass marketing.

The organisation has held international contests for 18 years for exceptional products made in origin countries for roasted coffee. teas and vegetable oils.

This year, AVPA has decided to offer chocolate makers in cocoa-producing countries a platform to compete at the first international ‘Chocolates processed at Origin’ competition.

The international contest is reserved for chocolate makers or their groups (cooperatives, Protected Origin Names) for which AVPA will propose a richer classification than the usual classifications in order to allow the expression of all tastes found in chocolate makers in cocoa-producing countries.

  • Dark, white or milk chocolate in a solid format
