CHOCOA 2022 IS A BLENDED LIVE AND VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE THIS JUNE

Chocoa is back as a live event, in time to celebrate ten years of the chocolate industry’s favourite show, taking place in Amsterdam on June 23 to 25.

For three days, Cocoa and chocolate lovers assemble in a frenzy of choco-nerdiness. I’ve always been transparent in admitting this is my favourite chocolate event. The range of people you meet, the chocolate you taste, and the Masterclasses’ quality make this an event you shouldn’t miss.

At the last live event in 2020, I remember having an epiphany during a workshop on mixing espresso with hot chocolate.

But there’s as much value in wandering the halls, talking to bean to bar makers, Collectives, other organisations, and all the people you bump into along the way. I’m looking forward to putting some faces to names that I’ve only known online.

There’s usually a good range of equipment companies exhibiting, supplying small workshops with Melangers to growing businesses that need more advanced packaging solutions.

This year, I see from the Agenda that there are several sessions around sustainability, as well as the ever-popular chocolate makers workshop.

I will be at the event moderating the sessions below, so please seek me out to say hello.
