STARBUCKS CEO WEIGHS IN ON VOTING RIGHTS

Starbucks CEO has weighed in on the voting debate In an attempt to push back against Republican efforts to limit ballot votes.

The right to vote is core to our democracy…We believe that voting should be free of discrimination of any kind. Starbucks Chief Executive Officer Kevin Johnson said in a statement

A group called Business for voting rights which counts Starbucks amongst its members Is a Coalition of companies that her demanding congress put in place safeguards to protect against discrimination 

The company said that they would also be educating their employees and offering them flexible work times to ensure they would be able to get to a voting station.
