Sensible Coffee announces the “Flavours of Honduras” coffee auction to be held on 13 July 2022 at 11 a.m. on the platform itself. The company is working closely with Cafesmo to create the third segment in the “Flavours” series of origin-based coffee auctions for 2022. It is a group that represents 250+ coffee growers in Mercedes, Ocotepeque in Honduras. They have curated an offering of a diverse range of quality, flavour profiles and processes from Honduras.
The auction lineup, which can be found on Sensible Coffee’s platform, includes innovative processes such as Yeast Bourgone, Lactic, Anaerobic, Yeast Intenso, Yeast Cote du Rhone fermentations as well as the typical washed and natural processes.
The focus of the “Flavours” series of auctions differs from the platform’s private biddings. This series of auctions has been designed to provide farmers with access to their database of international buyers while helping them source directly from countries of origin. The buyers are also provided support for logistical, contracts and payments wherever necessary so that they establish and ensure a long-term relationship with farmers.
The auction will feature 16 unique lots, ranging in quality from 84 to 88 points, processes, and cultivars. All coffees have been cupped and scored in origin and verified by the company’s in-house Q Grader & Head of Coffee, Nicolas Pastellopoulos.

Logistics: Coffees will be sold at FOB Busan basis and logistical, contracting and payment support will be given to all buyers.
