Coffee Tech Industrie is bringing a $56 million, 91 job investment to Seguin,Texas, by building its headquarters.
The headquarters will be built on a 33-acre site south of the U.S. According to Seguin’s Economic Development Corporation, the facility where coffee will be processed, dried and bulk packaged, is planned to begin late this year with operations commencing by 2022.
The company plans to make instant hot coffee and cold brew to sell directly to businesses. Chad McNair, the CEO of Coffee Tech Industrie, said that the company is thrilled to partner with the leadership and citizens of Seguin as they take on the task of creating a step-change in the coffee industry with this contemporary instant coffee manufacturing facility.
By agreeing to invest $56 million in the facility and create at least 91 jobs, Coffee Tech was given an incentive package that included a land grant by SEDC and a partial tax abatement.
