ALLEGRA EVENTS LAUNCHES GLOBAL COFFEE FESTIVAL & GLOBAL COFFEE NETWORK

The Global Coffee Festival is an Allegra Events production created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to strengthen the global coffee and hospitality community.

GCN is a five-day virtual B2B event for industry professionals taking place in the week following the Festival, from 2-6 November 2020.

The Festival will showcase and promote excellence, promoting growth for its stakeholders, as they look forward with optimism at the road ahead and reshape its economies.

The Festival will start on 30 October 2020 across 12 cities worldwide for 12 hours of non-stop broadcasting. Its theme will be refocusing, rebuilding and reigniting the global coffee and hospitality community.

The organisers want to educate and inspire people and celebrate excellence in coffee and hospitality.

The Festival will be live-streamed via The London Media Hub, which will be the main point of the event, and broadcast across video streaming platforms to encourage organic sharing and re-streaming.

The event programme incorporates insider tours of the world’s most famous coffee cities along with debate, industry interviews and thought leadership with some of the world’s most renowned coffee professionals.

After the Festival, all content will be available to stream on-demand, and trade attendees will be invited to apply to take part in The Global Coffee Network (GCN).

The Allegra GCN has been created in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic to reignite the coffee and hospitality economy, and to provide a much-needed virtual platform for key decision-makers to connect and build important business opportunities.

The GCN will allow business-critical one-to-one meetings to happen safely, connecting global buyers and sellers for five days of innovation, entrepreneurship and thought-leadership.

Attendees to the five-day virtual event will be able to personalise their itinerary across one-to-one buyer and supplier meetings, business masterclasses and high-profile roundtable discussions.
