WORLD OF COFFEE WARSAW DELAYED

The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has revealed World of Coffee will be delayed until October in response to the global Coronavirus outbreak.

The event will happen from 15 to 17 October 2020 at PTAK Warsaw Expo, Poland.

World of Coffee will continue to host the 2020 World Championships for Coffee Roasting, Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, Cup Tasters, and Cezve Ibrik.

“We send a sincere thanks to every one of our partners, sponsors, exhibitors, attendees, and volunteers for their patience as we work to adapt and find solutions to the rapidly changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the SCA, stated in a statement.

The news follows confirmation that the Melbourne International Coffee Expo, including the 2020 World Barista Championship and World Brewers Cup, has been delayed to 3 to 6 November 2020.

The SCA is reviewing options to delay the Re: Co Symposium and the Specialty Coffee Expo, both scheduled to happen in Portland, United States of America, in April 2020.
