WORLD COFFEE CONFERENCE POSTPONED

The International Coffee Organization has announced that the World Coffee Conference has been postponed.

In a statement issued by the Executive Director of the ICO, José Sette the ICO said that after consultation and lengthy consideration between the ICO and the Government of India, due to the unprecedented situation caused by Covid-19, it had been decided to postpone the World Coffee Conference, Council Session, and associated meetings. The event was going to take place in Bengaluru, India, in September 2020.

Mutually agreed dates for hosting the WCC and Council would be discussed with the Government of India as and when the coffee sector returns to normal.

World Coffee Conference & Expo arrives for the first time in Asia at Bengaluru, India. This global congregation was scheduled to be held from September 7-9, 2020. The conference was supposed to be a 5-day intensive program. This event brings together leaders and decision-makers from more than 100 countries to discuss, debate, and collaborate towards building a sustainable coffee industry, right from the bean to cup. The theme this year was supposed to be about sustainability through consumption. World Coffee Conference is organized every four years.
