TONYS CHOCOLONELY ACQUIRES A CHOCOLATE FACTORY… THEIRS.

TonysChocolonely Althaea De Laet Int

Tony’s Chocolonely says they had always dreamed of owning their very own chocolate factory.. and now they do! The company has purchased Althaea-De Laet Int. a Belgian chocolate company that Tonys used as one of their manufacturers.

The business, as it turns out, is the one-and-only family-run business that the company partnered with from day one to make the very first Tony’s Chocolonely bars.

Tony’s says this acquisition will allow them to innovate faster, become more flexible in new product development and scaling up to source more beans using Tony’s 5 Sourcing Principles.  The company said that the De Laet family and management team will stay on for the next two years to ensure a smooth handover

They call it a Win win win! For family, friends and cocoa farmers.
