Starbucks has revealed the launch of its new Ready-to-Drink (RTD) Nitro Cold Brew, which is available in three flavours: Black, Dark Caramel, and also Vanilla Sweet Cream.
What is Nitro Cold Brew?
Starbucks steeps their Nitro Cold Brew for 20 hours, and then infuses it with nitrogen as it pours from the tap (or presumably into the can). Nitrogen infusion creates microbubbles, giving the coffee a cascading, frothy texture.
The result is a velvety-smooth coffee with a subtly sweet flavour and a rich, creamy head of foam.
The company’s in-store nitro brew was highly successful for the company, available with a number of customisations and served unsweetened and without ice, it was an immediate favourite among many coffee lovers.
