RYZE Superfoods, officially launched its flagship product, Mushroom Keto Coffee. In a spectacular win from their marketing department, they combined coffee with the words, Keto and Mushroom – two of the biggest trends in the biohacking community.
RYZE Mushroom Keto Coffee is a healthier coffee alternative that reportedly provides focus and energy without any of the adverse side effects of caffeine like jitters, anxiety, and poor sleep. It is a mixture of six medicinal mushrooms, MCT oil, and arabica coffee that blends instantly in water.
According to RYZE, its new coffee alternative also offers mental and physical health benefits. The superfood ingredients used in the blend have been scientifically proven to boost physical performance and stamina, support immunity, fight inflammation, and promote homeostasis. It contains only 48mg of caffeine, roughly half of that of an average coffee cup.
There is a large and growing movement for medicinal mushrooms, which supporters say are a better way to get energy and mental sharpness. Mushrooms actually are incredible organisms that make up a large mass of the organic material in the soil.
Some of them, such as Lions Mane are considered superfoods that people have been using for years to give them a mental boost, and some believe to protect against disease like dementia, so the addition of the active ingredients of some mushrooms into coffee was inevitable.
What is Keto?
Keto is an abbreviation for ‘Ketosis’, a state the body enters when it has no more glucose to burn and it produces ketones instead. The brain is able to function only using either glucose and ketones. Typically, you enter this state after a number of days fasting and the bodies glucose deposits are exhausted.
Being in a state of ketosis for a number of hours or days is something some people aspire to do for health reasons. Therefore having certain drinks available to you, which do not take you out of that state are of perpetual interest. Black coffee is one example since it contains no sugars or fat.
There is still a large following of Bulletproof coffee, which was the first to push the concept of adding MCT oil to your morning brew. However Bulletproof coffee uses butter, which has fat and removes you from a Keto state.
The company claims it has made a blend that combines coffee with an energy boost, improved focus and immunity.
RYZE Mushroom Enhanced Keto Coffee is available to buy for $30 one time or $27 for subscribers.
