PEET’S COFFEE LAUNCHES NATIONWIDE DELIVERY THROUGH MOBILE APP

Coffee chain Peet’s Coffee is offering delivery through the Peet’s app on iPhone and Android, ensuring customers’ orders are delivered directly to their door.

Not surprisingly under the current conditions, Peet’s claims the need for on-demand delivery continues to grow, so they want to ensure they can provide for the coffee home market.

Delivery with the Peet’s app enables users to receive the benefits of the contactless ordering and delivery. The company will offer rewards to customers with each transaction to encourage take-up.

Mobile app users also have access to the Peetnik Rewards loyalty programme.

Members receive a free beverage of choice after their first purchase, earn points towards complimentary beverages, get access to a secret Member’s Only Menu, and other benefits.

Until 31 August, Peet’s is offering free delivery and waiving delivery service fees on orders made through the Peet’s app. Delivery hours vary by location.

Despite the impact of COVID-19 on retail services in the US, JDE Peet’s report mostly positive financial results for the first half of 2020, thanks mainly to the in-home consumer packaged goods offered by Peet’s.
