The latest coffee trend is called dalgona coffee, or as some people call it fluffy coffee. The trend originated in South Korea,where a popular candy known as dalgona or ppopgi is made by heating sugar, oil and baking soda and mixing until it’s thick and fluffy and then letting it harden. Now, people from all over the world want to try it.
2 tablespoons instant coffee
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
Combine instant coffee, sugar and 2 tablespoons hot water in a small mixing bowl.2
Using a hand mixer, beat the mixture for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the color changes to golden brown and the mixture takes on a thick consistency.3
Pour the milk into a tall glass with a few ice cubes in it and top with the mixture, using a spatula to coax it out of the bowl.
