LA MARZOCCO KOREA INAUGURATED THE NEW HQ

La Marzocco Korea has made a move, the branch office is now in the Gangnam district of Seoul’s modern center, home to booming skyscrapers, fun nightclubs, and lively restaurants and store-fronts. The brand-new facility will have a dedicated showroom, after-sales training center, and a two-story café space.

Matt Café represents the philosophy of the new building. A window of eagerness to develop and elevate coffee in the growing local community.

Named after the General Manager Matt Lee, “We want to be honest, strive for the best and make a substantial statement about our willingness to develop and elevate coffee culture and community to continue to be a local point of reference. We want to serve as an example, acting professionally and inclusively, inviting people to gain knowledge, inspiration, and value in their moment at the café…. La Marzocco is my whole life. And my whole life is dedicated to the brand, its artisanal values, and community culture” -they said.

The destination includes educational and quite rooms, a library, and a retail shop; inviting visitors to learn more about La Marzocco but also have a space to study and unwind.

Matt Café is situated in two stories of the LM Korea HQ, with the first floor showcasing some of the finest in brewing equipment – KB90 and Modbar. One floor under (B1), a full Modbar range (EP, AV, Steam & Pour Over) along with a La Marzocco Strada EP machine have been installed to serve caffeinated beverages for all tastes.

The café’s interior is curated in every detail, housing products and content that offer and convey quality at 360°. Multiple lion statues are featured around the location to enhance the tie with La Marzocco and high-end craftsmanship, introducing visitors to a fresh innovative café concept.

With a staff of brilliant baristas, a lineup of cutting-edge specialty coffee equipment and freshly roasted bean selections, the La Marzocco Korea team finally open their doors at Matt Café to friends, partners and visitors on July 27th… Bringing in a new chapter to rising coffee culture in Korea, where like-minded individuals can come share and propel their passion.
