The Port of Le Havre is the Port and port authority of the French city of Le Havre. It is the second-largest commercial port in France in terms of overall tonnage, and the largest container port, with three sets of terminals.
ICE Futures Europe is proposing to delist the French port of Le Havre as a delivery area for its London cocoa futures contract, the exchange said in a notice last Friday.
The notice did not give a reason for the move but there is currently no exchange-certified cocoa stored at the port.
The remaining delivery areas are Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bremen, Hamburg, Liverpool, London and Rotterdam.
The proposed change would come into effect on 18th September 2020.
