The dramatic increase in demand for iced coffee over the last few years has encouraged product development teams everywhere to ensure they too have a cold drink offering.
With summer peeking out behind the clouds, and as warm weather approaches, Guinness has unveiled their latest offering to the market.
Brewed using cold brew coffee extract and coffee flavours, the new Guinness variant (4% ABV) is described “sweet-smelling with a distinct rich coffee aroma” and has a “smooth and creamy palate with hints of espresso, chocolate and caramel.
According to the Diageo-owned Guinness, this will be a permanent addition to their lineup. The drink arrived in the US in four-packs with a $9.99 price tag. They plan on trickling the beverage to other countries over the next 12-18 months.
