Precipitation in the Agnéby-Tiassa region, Ivory Coast

The latest in-house analysis of the precipitation data for the Agnéby-Tiassa region in Ivory Coast highlighted a 10% positive anomaly in precipitation in the last 90 days.

However, the rain distribution differed greatly from the mean and the wet anomaly comes from few, short wet periods. Since the resumption of rain this region saw intense rainfall in mid-April, late May and in mid-June.

On the other hand, between the third week of May and mid- June, rainfalls were scarcer than average.
Overall, the production took place under extremely favourable conditions while pest and diseases should be on par with the long-term average or, if anything, below.
