2021 TAIWAN INTERNATIONAL COFFEE SHOW – WORLD COFFEE CHAMPIONSHIPS

World Coffee Events (subsidiary of the Specialty Coffee Association) presents Taiwan International Coffee Show where they will be holding the following World Championships:

  • The 2021 World Latte Art Championship (WLAC)
  • World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS)
  • World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC)

The event will take place on November 19-22, 2021 at Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan.

For the second year running, The World Coffee Roasting Championships will be taking place during the Taiwan International Coffee Show. The newest of the World Coffee Championships, and it focuses on the craft of the roaster, giving competitors multiple days to sample-roast selections from a shared set of green coffees, make production roasting plans, and then execute their production roasts.

World Coffee Roasting Champion 2019 Results:

Champion: Arseny Kuznetov – Russia
2nd: Bogdan Georgescu – Romania
3rd: Mateusz Karczewski – Poland

As part of this scheduling, the 2021 World Coffee Championships season will be set, with the World Brewers Cup joining the World Barista Championship, World Cup Tasters, and Cezve/Ibrik Championship at the Specialty Coffee Association’s World of Coffee Athens event, from June 24-26.

The World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) recognises the best latte artists through multiple rounds of drinks and designs they must pour, both on-stage, and for the audience at the Art Bar.

2nd: Hao-Yuan Chen — Taiwan
3rd: Liu Guoqiang — China
4th: Oneway Dash — South Korea
5th: Hiroki Ito — Japan
6th: Peter Chan — Hong Kong

The World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) highlights the combination of coffee and alcohol, awarding those who best blend the craft of barista and bartender.

3rd: Agnieszka Rojewska — Poland
4th: Manos Mamakis— Greece
