CARAVELA COFFEE ANNOUNCED NEW DIRECTOR

Caravela Coffee has announced Jacqueline Green as a new independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Jacqueline Green said that she was delighted to join the Company that has been a pioneer in the specialty coffee industry and has done an extraordinary work of empowering coffee producers in Latin America in its first 20 years.

Green has been part of the business since she graduated. She studied Law, Spanish and French, and found that, unexpectedly, languages and fresh produce seemed like a fit. She recently left Berry Gardens, a United Kingdom company where she was the CEO.

Green has spoken earlier on answering consumer’s preferences, sustainable futures, supply chain efficiency, and talent development. She also held several positions on Trade Boards, Retailer committees, a Charity Board, and worked with Government working groups.

Caravela said she is enthusiastic about personal development, and, as well as her consulting and Non-Executive positions, also works as a Mentor and is a qualified Transformational Coach.

Alejandro Cadena, Co-founder and CEO of Caravela, said that the Company was thrilled to have Green join its Board of Directors and believes they will benefit from her experience working for more than 25 years in fresh produce and agri-business.

Having Green on its team, Caravela says they are optimistic about expanding its values and mission. The company does not doubt that with her help leading the company’s strategy, Caravela will continue to grow and develop its impact, while further improving the company’s governance.
