Coffee & Cocoa International (C&CI) has closed BarTalks will provide the news for coffee and cocoa
The Publisher of Coffee & Cocoa International (C&CI) has confirmed that the magazine and website have closed, after more than 46 years.
Andrew Kingsley, Publisher of C&CI, said “This decision has been taken with the utmost reluctance due to the all too apparent adverse market conditions and my decision to retire – I shall be 66 years old in June.”
“On behalf of C&CI, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our advertisers and readers for their loyalty in choosing C&CI as their preferred source of reference and advertising support over many decades.”
“Without your backing, our existence would not have been possible but in the current global business climate, we have been left with no option but to close C&CI.”
Monica Chan from the C&CI team has started BarTalks (https://bartalks.net ), a website dedicated to specialty coffee, fine cocoa and bean to bar chocolate. We wish Monica every success in her new venture and hope she has as much enjoyment in the coffee and cocoa markets as the C&CI team had.
